I’m
Christy, the “Izzy” part of our cards. My illustrations
are inspired by children, watching them enjoy life and taking
in the wonders all around them. This makes me think about how
we are inside when all the inhibitions are taken away, and there
are those perfect moments when nature is at its finest and our
hearts our young, trusting, and playful... knowing our Heavenly
Father watches over us. Of course, life is not so idyllic. Kids
can be brats! They scream, yell, pull hair, and watch too much
television. They're really just like us adults, with all the
attitude and pomp, but in a smaller frame! Still, sweet tenderness,
innocence, and joy is inside every child.... a wellspring of
life. That's where I choose to focus when I draw. It reminds
me that there is a child inside of me who is full of joy, strength,
and innocence and trusts God. Knowing this has strengthened me
to face the hard things in life and brought much healing. I hope
these cards bring a smile and remind you of that sweet, playful,
tender, trusting place inside… that little peace of Heaven
that's given as a reminder of the perfect Home waiting for all
God’s children one day.

| I'm Cindy, and enjoy
being “Me”! For as long as I can remember I've always
loved greeting cards and writing notes to people. I'd go to the
card store for one card and find myself buying a dozen cards
at a time just because I liked them so much! There was always
a "stash" in my "card drawer" and I loved
sending cards to people for any reason or no reason at all except
to say I'm thinking of you and isn't this a great card?! It wasn't
long before a dream for creating my own greeting cards began.
Taking art classes and having an interior design business for
several years nurtured my creativity, but I wanted to do more
with art. Through creative expression, I wanted to focus on the
profoundly simple, yet meaningful things that come to us in the
journey of living. I wanted to inspire and encourage myself and
others to be all God created us to be; to focus on the importance
of living from a true heart and spirit. Then I met Christy who
became like an adopted daughter to me. Our creative hearts collided
and my greeting card dreams became a reality. I hope our cards
bring a sense of inspiration to you. Painting them is a gift
from my child's heart to yours... I hope they make you smile! |
